This service offers breaks for carers at their two lodges in Weymouth and Devon. A short application form is required and the Carers Support Service is happy to go through the form with you and make sure you have included everything. They also have four beach huts which are located at Sandbanks (Poole), Alum Chine, Boscombe (Bournemouth) and Avon Beach (Christchurch).

Archies Caravan is a charity that was set up in brave Archie's name after he lost his battle with cancer aged 3. Their caravan is free of charge for paediatric patients fighting cancer, situated in Haven Reighton Sands holiday park.

The Prince Of Wales Hospice provide care to people over the age of 18, with a life-limiting illness. Their services are available to any adult from the Five Towns area of the Wakefield District. People can receive care as a visiting out-patient or on their ward where they offer 24-hour specialist care. Their support extends to the carers and families of patients by providing therapy services and bereavement support.

Wigan and Leigh Hospice offer therapies to patients with specialist palliative needs and to those people close to them.

Patients will be offered a course of 6 treatments and carers will be offered a course of 4 treatments, following an assessment and consultation. The therapies that are offered include: aromatherapy, massage, reflexology, reiki and relaxation therapy.
