The Helpline is staffed by specialist Nurses and Doctors, based at the Hospice, who are ready to offer support and advice to individuals and their families, at any time during the day or night. This service is also available for Healthcare Professionals who can access this service during a 24hour period where they will receive specialist support and advice in the management of a patient’s ongoing specialist palliative care needs. The patient can be at home, in hospital or another Hospice.

Maggie's centre in Edinburgh offers a space for those living with a brain tumour and their loved ones to speak to others going through a similar experience and find advice, support and strategies for coping. It covers both emotional and practical concerns, from the day-to-day impact of diagnosis to help with money worries.

Children's Hospice South West provide hospice care and professional family support services for babies, children and young people with life-threatening and life-limiting conditions. The care is offered at each of their 3 hospices based in the South West of England and includes: short breaks, sibling support, emergency care, end-of-life care, bereavement support, care therapies and support for teenagers.

This service is for anyone living in West Lothian, and for patients attending the Western General Hospital who are affected by cancer, including family and caregivers. They provide a holistic approach to advice through available benefits and refer to other services available in West Lothian, including; Occupational Therapy, Home Safety Service, travel concessions, money, energy and housing advice. They offer weekly drop in sessions in Bathgate Partnership Centre every Wednesday 10am-12pm. They also have a drop in session at Western General Hospital, South Corridor every Tuesday and Thursday 10am-1pm.

St Peter's Hospice is a local charity that provides care and support to adults who are living with a progressive life-limiting illness in the Bristol, South Gloucestershire and North Somerset area. The hospice provides care for people in their own home and at their hospice- where they also provide day services, a living well programme and complementary therapies. They also provide a range of support for caregivers, including a support line and emotional and psychological support.

This charity delivers high quality, responsive and compassionate care to patients and their families facing a life-limiting illness. They have two hospice sites; one in Yeovil and one in Taunton, each with an inpatient unit, day hospice service and a therapies service. They also provide a range of community based services and a 24-hour adviceline. They have a Family Support Service that provides support for families with young children and teenagers during the patient's illness and after bereavement.

Rowcroft Hospice supports adults living with life-limiting illnesses in South Devon. They support people with symptom management, palliative care nursing as well as providing emotional and practical advice and support.

There are a number of peer support and friendship groups run at this centre for people affected by a cancer diagnosis. They supply a wide range of equipment from specialist wheelchairs, beds, baths and mobility aids, to essential everyday homecare items like pushchairs and domestic appliances.
