Socials are held monthly and are there to give you an opportunity to engage in and experience new things. Past events have included bowling, crazy golf, quizzes, sit-down meals and a day out watching greyhound racing.

South Bucks Hospice provide support for patients with life-limiting illnesses. Services include specialist palliative and end of life care, practical support for patients and families for caring at home, counselling and support groups.

Newbury Cancer Care support people who have been diagnosed with cancer or other-life threatening illnesses who live in West Berkshire. They offer practical help and information to patients and their families in the local area. They work closely with Clinical Nurse Specialists, medical professionals and the Day Hospice to help improve the support offered from the point of diagnosis.

Westerhaven offers a wide range of specialist support services to those affected by cancer and long-term conditions such as COPD and long COVID. They also provide a service to relatives, carers, and friends of anyone who has received a diagnosis and who may need some support as well as anyone bereaved due to cancer.

All their services are free and are available to anyone in South West Edinburgh aged 16 and over and can take place face-to-face, online, or by phone.

This charity offers West Berkshire residents one-to-one support via a trained volunteer who can meet you either in the privacy of one of the dedicated meeting rooms at Broadway House or in your own home. This charity aims to provide practical help and support to people who are living with a brain injury in the Teesside area. Support in the past has included drop-in sessions, activity sessions to help build confidence and various social outings including ten pin bowling and trips to the seaside. This support can be accessed by patients, families, friends and carers.

This innovative therapy allows any child to engage with an art therapist by participating in painting, drawing, collages, and clay modelling. The patient can be at home, in hospital or another Hospice.

Maggie's centre in Edinburgh offers a space for those living with a brain tumour and their loved ones to speak to others going through a similar experience and find advice, support and strategies for coping. It covers both emotional and practical concerns, from the day-to-day impact of diagnosis to help with money worries.

Children's Hospice South West provide hospice care and professional family support services for babies, children and young people with life-threatening and life-limiting conditions. The care is offered at each of their 3 hospices based in the South West of England and includes: short breaks, sibling support, emergency care, end-of-life care, bereavement support, care therapies and support for teenagers.

This service is for anyone living in West Lothian, and for patients attending the Western General Hospital who are affected by cancer, including family and caregivers. They provide a holistic approach to advice through available benefits and refer to other services available in West Lothian, including; Occupational Therapy, Home Safety Service, travel concessions, money, energy and housing advice. They offer weekly drop in sessions in Bathgate Partnership Centre every Wednesday 10am-12pm. They also have a drop in session at Western General Hospital, South Corridor every Tuesday and Thursday 10am-1pm.
